The peaceful suburb of Constantia Kloof lies on the slopes of Constantia Ridge, west of Johannesburg. Location and access

Constantia Kloof is situated between Constantia Drive to the north and Bristow Street to the south. The nearest Gautrain bus route runs via Republic Road, Randpark Ridge to the Sandton station, but the MetroBus route runs along Golf Club Terrace via Constantia Kloof to Roodepoort. Minibus taxis are always plentiful.

The residential market recorded 156 property sales in the past 12 months, mainly in sectional schemes, showing a stable market with contented residents. There are several shopping centres, malls, as well as office parks in the Constantia Kloof area, offering retail or office possibilities to investors or businesses wishing to relocate. There are currently no approved new developments on the horizon.

Constantia Kloof boasts several shopping centres including Constantia Square with a Pick n Pay anchor store, while 14th Avenue District Shopping Centre houses the Checkers Hyper. There is a wide variety of basic or specialist outlets to be found in these centres. In addition, Clearwater Mall is a mere 4 kilometres away between the suburbs of Allen’s Nek and Strubens Valley. Abbott Laboratories, Legal Wise, Cadac SA as well as Clover are some of the well-known firms with head-offices in the area. The Constantia Kloof Primary School as well as several crèches provide early education.  Excellent high schools, both government and private, are situated in the adjacent suburbs.  UNISA’s Florida campus is also within reach. Nature lovers may go to the nearby Magaliesberg resorts, but Kloofendal Nature Reserve or Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens are popular venues, closer to home. Constantia Kloof offers entertainment venues including restaurants, coffee shops or places for family fun. Medical or dental practitioners as well as the Westrand Eye Centre, Netcare Constantia Clinic and Life Flora Clinic are located here.
