Having now successfully sold the former Netherlands embassy (on 16 100m² of ground) for R16,5 million, Rawsons Constantia franchise is now marketing another embassy complex in much the same area.

Constantia, said Romanovsky, is a precinct in which the average age is way above that of the rest of the Peninsula '“ but, he says, this is changing fast: as the older people move to retirement villages and in a few cases country retreats, young upwardly mobile professionals and management types are moving in, giving the precinct a new go-getting ambience, which is especially detectable at its upmarket retail centres.
The former embassy building now for sale, said Romanovsky, conforms in every way to what Constantia buyers want: it has a genuine rural ambience, it is exceptionally private, it is north-facing and, with its natural slate roof and parquet floors, it has quality finishes. The garden has a large pool and, having served as an embassy for many years, the home has A1 state of the art security.
