So says [Johan Lubbe](http://www.rawson.co.za/sales-partners/johan-lubbe-512), the new Rawson Properties franchisee for the area '“ and, he predicts, those buying now will find that by early 2012 they are looking back on significant price rises. Lubbe has had seven years in property and marketing, starting as an agent. By 2005 he was a rental portfolio manager controlling some 600 properties. He then bought a rental portfolio and went independent in 2009, establishing his own rental management company. He has now bought into Rawsons because, he says, they have the sort of big brand image from which he can benefit '“ and they provide a support package, network and systems that are impressive. The move also gives him the opportunity to sell homes in addition to renting them '“ and therefore to grow fast. The great advantages of Centurion, says Lubbe, are, firstly, that it is sited so as to be able to serve not only Pretoria but also [Midrand](http://www.rawson.co.za/property/midrand), [Sandton](http://www.rawson.co.za/property/sandton) and Northen Johannesburg '“ even at a push, such reef towns as [Germiston](http://www.rawson.co.za/property/germiston) and [Krugersdorp](http://www.rawson.co.za/property/krugersdorp). Secondly, it offers a wonderful variety of housing in a wide range of prices. Due to the increases in sales at the end of 2010 exceeding expectations , Johan says that these promising signs must not be ignored, and that sales of property could still increase earlier rather than later in 2011. 'In the property sector,' he said, 'the principals experience can be exceptionally valuable to clients '“ and I do have experience. In addition, this franchise is and always will be staffed by people with above average levels of dedication and service, prepared to go the extra mile, work longer hours and find the solutions clients are looking for' To contact Johan Lubbe ring 012 653 4073 or email centurion@rawsonproperties.com.   ##### For more information, email [marketing@rawsonproperties.com](mailto:marketing@rawsonproperties.com) or visit [www.rawson.co.za](https://www.rawson.co.za/) for the latest market tips and industry news. ## Rawson ### Leave a comment ### More Posts Jul 02, 2026 #### [Stock shortage puts Western Cape sellers in the driving seat](https://blog.rawson.co.za/stock-shortage-puts-western-cape-sellers-in-the-driving-seat) advice [![Share on Facebook](https://blog.rawson.co.za/hs-fs/hubfs/social-uploaded-images/Facebook%20Icons.png?width=24&name=Facebook%20Icons.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.rawson.co.za%2Fnew-rawson-properties-franchise-for-centurion%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on LinkedIn](https://blog.rawson.co.za/hs-fs/hubfs/social-uploaded-images/Linkedin%20Icon.png?width=24&name=Linkedin%20Icon.png)](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.rawson.co.za%2Fnew-rawson-properties-franchise-for-centurion%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dlinkedin) [![Share on Twitter](https://blog.rawson.co.za/hs-fs/hubfs/social-uploaded-images/Twitter.png?width=24&name=Twitter.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.rawson.co.za%2Fnew-rawson-properties-franchise-for-centurion%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.rawson.co.za%2Fnew-rawson-properties-franchise-for-centurion%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=New%20Rawson%20Properties%20franchise%20for%20Centurion) May 28, 2026 #### [Rates increase by 25 basis points: What May’s MPC decision means for SA property](https://blog.rawson.co.za/rates-increase-by-25-basis-points-what-mays-mpc-decision-means-for-sa-property) [![Share on Facebook](https://blog.rawson.co.za/hs-fs/hubfs/social-uploaded-images/Facebook%20Icons.png?width=24&name=Facebook%20Icons.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.rawson.co.za%2Fnew-rawson-properties-franchise-for-centurion%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on LinkedIn](https://blog.rawson.co.za/hs-fs/hubfs/social-uploaded-images/Linkedin%20Icon.png?width=24&name=Linkedin%20Icon.png)](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.rawson.co.za%2Fnew-rawson-properties-franchise-for-centurion%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dlinkedin) [![Share on Twitter](https://blog.rawson.co.za/hs-fs/hubfs/social-uploaded-images/Twitter.png?width=24&name=Twitter.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.rawson.co.za%2Fnew-rawson-properties-franchise-for-centurion%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblog.rawson.co.za%2Fnew-rawson-properties-franchise-for-centurion%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=New%20Rawson%20Properties%20franchise%20for%20Centurion) May 19, 2026 #### [Who’s fixing what?
