Coming up for auction on the 18th of September is a sizable family home at Flamingo Vlei in Blouberg which is positioned less than 1 km away from the Rietvlei Wetland Reserve, says Tanya Jovanovski, co-franchisee for Rawson Auctions in the Western Cape.
The 792 m2 home, says Jovanovski, has three bedrooms (the main bedroom is en suite), all with underfloor heating and sliding doors that lead onto the brick paved pool area. The main living area, she continued, has high wooden beamed ceilings and the combined lounge and dining room is fitted with a Jetmaster fireplace. Jovanovski says that she expects bidding to start at R2,5 million and this auction, she says, represents excellent value for either a family moving into Flamingo Vlei or a buy-to-let investor.
The auction will be held at the Rawson Property Group’s head offices at 222 Main Road, Rondebosch at 12 noon. Rawson Auctions have not asked bidders to pay an auction fee, but their terms and conditions insist on a 5% deposit on the purchase price and a 10% auctioneer’s commission, plus VAT, being paid on the fall of the hammer.
