The offer was received on the day the auction took place, on the 24th of July, at the Rawson Property Group’s head office at 222 Main Road [Rondebosch](http://www.rawson.co.za/property/rondebosch-cape-town). The offer was below the reserve price and was negotiated, post auction, to a price which was acceptable to both the buyer and seller.
