Property market in Pinelands still booming

News

Despite the recent interest rate hikes, the property market in Pinelands is still extremely active. This is according to Craig Wiley, franchisee of the Rawson Pinelands office.

He attributes the suburbs popularity to the fact that it is extremely central and close to the CBD and airport. 'All the major shops are in the area and we have excellent private and public schools. A further boost is that we have access to great beaches'

The property market still remains very attractive, with many properties available in a price range from R1,25 million to R4 million. 'Pinelands is popular with families and many people grow-up and never leave the area '“ Im an example of this'

The popularity of the area is evident in the fact that the office recently recorded their highest sale. A four bedroom house, overlooking the golf course, was sold for R2,875 million. The 400m² home has stunning views of the surrounding mountains, as well as state-of-the-art security and an in-door entertainment area with a braai and a gym room. The sale was made by Carol Ann Torr and Robyn Meyer.
